Our Experience With Sacred Biology CBD Muscle Rub

Sacred Biology CBD Muscle Rub is formulated with organic beeswax, sunflower oil, and hemp seed oil to offer the perfect consistency and 150mg of CBD. We loved that it was solid at room temperature, which made the twist-up style tube easy to use. The oil-based muscle rub melted just slightly on contact with skin, enough to supply a thin layer wherever we needed. The careful consistency of the rub helps it stretch, offering a powerful burst of relief only to precise areas.

It smells mostly like the added arnica and peppermints, which is warm and spicy, but nowhere near as overwhelming as many popular drug store alternatives (think Icy Hot). The smell fades a bit immediately after application and then lingers, but it’s probably not strong enough to turn heads if you wore it into public.

We found several ways to use Sacred Biology CBD Muscle Rub, and it provided consistent relief each time. For minor aches and pains, like tired knees after leg day or an achy neck after a poor night’s sleep, it cleared up the small discomfort and offered an inviting, warming sensation. We weren’t truly impressed, though, until we used it against an ankle injury sustained during a weekend excursion to the trampoline park.

Luckily, we had already stashed this convenient container of this muscle rub in our glove compartment first aid kit. We applied the CBD muscle rub about twenty minutes after the injury occurred. The warming sensation, which was almost instantaneous, immediately eased the pain. Ten minutes in, the swelling was reduced. Although a slight soreness stuck around that reminded us to stay off our feet, the throbbing had stopped completely. We found that we needed to reapply every 4 hours to keep the pain at bay, but this muscle rub consistently knocked pain levels at 6 or 7 (out of 10) to a steady 2 or 3. Consistent and powerful, something we've come to expect of Sacred Biology
